Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, financial data, vault documents, and AI conversation history. Request it here on the web — submit the form below or email us. We aim to complete every deletion within 24 hours and guarantee it within 30 days.
How to delete

By email
Write to privacy@beaverise.com from the email on file, plus one of: government photo ID, a recent bank statement linked to your account, or the last 4 digits of a recent in-app transaction.

Delete my account
Use the email you signed up with. Our privacy team matches the request to your account and processes the deletion — usually within 24 hours, guaranteed within 30 days. If you can't access that inbox anymore, email privacy@beaverise.com with one of: a government photo ID, a recent bank statement linked to your account, or the last 4 digits of a recent in-app transaction.
Deletion is final.
We don't keep a soft-delete grace period. Once we verify your request, your account starts being torn down and cannot be restored. If you'd rather pause without losing your data, sign out of the app instead, or request a data export and we'll send you everything before you decide.
What gets deleted
Every piece of data that's about you, gone for good.
Profile and login
Name, email, phone number, postal code, language, authentication credentials, and any photos you uploaded.
Linked bank accounts
We call Plaid's /item/remove for every linked institution to invalidate the access token, then delete every cached balance, transaction, account holder, and institution metadata we received.
Document Vault
Every receipt, lease, warranty, policy, and bill you uploaded, along with the OCR text and any AI summaries we generated from them.
Beaver AI conversation history
All chat messages, the financial context attached to each conversation, and the personalization signals we learned about you.
Budgets, debt plans, insights
Your auto-budgets, debt payoff plans, cash-flow forecasts, tax optimizations, and every report Beaver generated.
Notifications and preferences
Your push tokens, notification preferences, theme, AI personality choice, and any custom rules you set.
Gamification data
Streaks, XP, achievements, badges, leaderboard standing, and challenge participation.
What we have to keep (and why)
A small amount of data sticks around for fraud prevention and audit. We never use it for product purposes after deletion. It's siloed and only touched if a regulator or court asks.
Fraud-prevention signals (24 months)
Hashed device fingerprints and risk scores stay in our anti-fraud system for up to 24 months to prevent the same bad actor from creating a new account.
Deletion confirmation (indefinite)
We keep a minimal record of when your deletion was requested and processed (timestamp, hashed identifier). This is the audit trail we need to prove the request was honoured.
Want to keep some data instead?
If you just want a copy of your Beaverise data without deleting the account, request a data export. You'll get a JSON archive of every transaction, document, budget, and chat we hold for you, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
Request data exportWant only your Beaver AI conversation history removed but the rest kept? Email privacy@beaverise.com with “Partial deletion - AI history” in the subject line. Same applies for Vault-only, budgets-only, or any other slice.
Timeline
- Immediate. Your login is disabled. We call Plaid's /item/remove for every linked institution.
- Within 24 hours. Profile, vault, AI chat, budgets, and insights are removed from production databases.
- Within 30 days. All backups containing your data have rotated out. From this point, even our engineering team cannot recover your account.
Age requirement
Beaverise is for users 18 and older. We don't knowingly hold accounts for minors. If you believe a minor signed up, email privacy@beaverise.com and we'll close the account immediately, no proof required.
